You babies asked for it, and I can’t wait to give you allllll the answers! The basics of how to build a peach just like mine! Yes, genetics may play a part but there are also many things that I have done over the years to get the glutes I have today. So I want to give you the basics so you can build a booty just like mine!  

  1. 1. DIET - The Gains

To BUILD a booty you have to get the diet right, to begin with. That means feeding your body, and not depriving it! So many girls undereat in the quest to be “skinny” or “shredded”. Not me! Firstly, I am the hangriest person on the planet if I don’t eat. Secondly, whenever I undereat my hard earned gains start to fade away. Make sure you are not depriving your body of what it needs! If you are focusing on building the glutes, then get that diet in check. You have to make sure that you are giving your body exactly what it needs to build that muscle. Believe me, get the diet and nutrition working in synergy and then I guarantee you everything will start falling into place.

I give all my #wbkgirls meal plan options when starting their programs! There are certain calorie levels, depending on what your overall goals are.   1. 2. Lift Weights

One of the key changes to my lifestyle and transforming my body was including lifting weights into my schedule. I used to do a lot of cardio, which was great for dropping body fat, but it wasn’t the key for building and developing lean muscle. When I learnt the truth of the myth that lifting weights makes girls bulky, that is when I learned the secret to a shapely silhouette!

I started off with the basics, exactly what I teach my #wbkgirls to this day:

  1. 1. Get the technique right

  2. 2. Practice the basic lifts consistently

  3. 3. Progress your weights

  4. 4. Stay consistent with your training

Regardless of where you are starting in your fitness journey, when you apply this formula to your training, you will see results (of course making sure the diet right as well).

My training program these days is focused mostly on lower body strength. I am naturally petite up top so this allows me to focus more on my lower body. My programs for my #wbkgirls take this into account and have a similar emphasis. Even for girls that are a little heavier up top, having a lower body focus in your programs will help you feel leaner all over. Your glutes are the biggest muscle in your body, more strength in your rear will assist to increase your metabolism as well as create womanly shape!   1. 3. Drink Water

Get that H2O babies!!!

You will always see me walking around with a bottle. Drinking water will help assist your metabolism, help your body run with clean fuel aaaand promote glowing skin! Building muscle is hard work for your body. You need all the water you can get to help this maximize this process! If you find it hard to drink flat water, try adding fruit or a scoop of Beyond BCAAs to make it a little more fun!

  1. 4. Pick a SHORT TERM GOAL

One of the reasons I started WBK challenges is because I think it is so important to set short term goals. It is really hard when you are at the start of your fitness journey (or at any point along it for that matter!) to be able to visualize getting to that end goal! 8 weeks is the perfect amount of time to really stay consistent and get to the end of the challenge with INCREDIBLE results!

Think of it this way, there is a reason that brides get so toned in record time… They know their big day is coming up and there is no way they won’t be bringing their best self to the event! So pick an event, an outfit or put THAT swimsuit on, you are going to head onto that beach and OOOOZE confidence!!! Not only should you always feel radiant AF. But, this summer you are going to know that you EARNED it! That is the best feeling of them all!
