Watermelon contains a type of amino acid called L-citrulline, which is actually shown to help fat burning! You’ll also be getting plenty of vitamins and minerals like potassium, magnesium and vitamin C for an immunity and energy boost.

Mango

Is there really a better summer fruit 😍 ? Mango is a super rich source of vitamin A which is vital for skin health and immunity. Mango has also been shown to aid digestion and help regulate blood pressure, which is important if trying to stay lean this summer.

Greek Yogurt

Non-fat, plain greek yogurt is one of the most underrated superfoods. Greek yogurt contains high amounts of protein with virtually no fat or sugar, making it one of the best sources of protein out there! Protein is important to help stabilize your appetite, and help you reach your physique goal. Plus, it’s a bonus that Greek yogurt is cool and refreshing on a hot summer's day. You could even try to make frozen yogurt bark, don’t worry we’ve got recipes for that too…

Pineapple

If you struggle with bloating, you should be eating more pineapple. Pineapple contains a special type of protein called Bromelain which is a digestive enzyme. Bromelain  helps your body break down macronutrients more effectively, which reduces the bloat! Additionally, pineapple is rich in vitamin C for antioxidants and immune protection.

Almonds

Almonds are a super convenient snack that pack a nutritional punch! Containing over 15 almonds are a healthy source of fat, fiber, and protein to keep your hunger at bay. Almonds also happen to be one of the highest sources of vitamin E to keep your cholesterol levels healthy and provide your body with antioxidant protection.

Oats

You may not think of oats as a summer food, but you should! Oats are a source of complex carbs and fiber, to give you sustained energy for your workouts and summer adventures. Instead of having traditional oatmeal, why not try overnight oats? Leaving your oatmeal in the fridge overnight makes it refreshing to eat in the morning so you can start your day off right!
