What is the SUMMER SHRED challenge?

Summer Shred is a BRAND-NEW 8 week challenge designed to help you burn fat and get lean. Summer Shred features 8 week of resistance + cardio workouts, 8 weeks of a nutritionist designed meal plan, and BONUS app content so you have all you need to achieve the physique of your dreams in the palm of your hand. Suitable for ALL fitness levels, we are confident that your physique will transform over 8 weeks so you can become the best version of yourself! 

What are the workouts like?

SUMMER SHRED features 5-6 workouts each week that are approximately 1 hour long. Workouts are resistance based (using dumbbells, booty bands, an/or gym equipment) as well as some added cardio. The mixture of these two types of training will help you retain lean muscle mass while dropping body fat for a shapely physique. 

The workouts are designed to be challenging, and progress in intensity over the 8 weeks. But there's no need to stress - you can use the SWAP exercise feature to change certain exercises for ones more suitable for your current fitness level if need be! 

There are workouts for both GYM and HOME, and you can swap between them at any time!

What is the training split?

The training split is as follows:

  • 2x Glute-Focused Lower Body
  • 1x Upper Body Shred
  • 1x HIIT + Abs
  • 1x Upper Body + Abs
  • 1x Challenge Day workout!

What is the challenge day workout?

Each week, you’ll find a prerecorded follow-along challenge day workout video with Elise! Each week’s challenge day workout is 20-30 minutes long and is designed to be a fun workout that also pushes you to the limits! 

Elise will guide you through ab blaster workouts, booty burners, full body circuits and so much more!

You will find your weekly challenge day workout at the top of the ‘home’ section of the WBK app. You can do the challenge day workout any day throughout the week.

What are the meals like?

WBK FIT app offers both regular and vegan meal plans with PLENTY of recipes to choose from! 20+ NEW recipes have been added EXCLUSIVELY for this challenge. All meals are created by our in-house nutritionists, so you can be assured that meals are both DELICIOUS and good for you! 

You can use the SWAP recipe feature to swap out recipes from your meal plan if you’d rather choose a different recipe from our database of over 800+ recipes instead. 

Meals are hearty, delicious and non-restrictive. You can find all your fave meals like burgers, pasta, tacos, pancakes, stir-fries and so much more!

What is the challenge prize and how do I win?

Once the challenge is complete, we will pick the person with the best transformation to win the challenge prize! The prize is an ALL EXPENSES PAID trip to California for you AND your best friend! Who wouldn’t want that? ✈️

To be in the running, you need to submit your progress pictures in week 1, 4 and 8 of the challenge so we can see your progress! We'll pick the person who’s had the best transformation!

When does the challenge start and end? And when does the app access open?

App access opens on Thursday 4th August. On this day, you can sign into the WBK FIT app and access the challenge.

SUMMER SHRED begins on Monday 8th August 2022. 

SUMMER SHRED ends on Sunday 2nd October 2022.

Will I have access to the challenge forever?

No. You will have access to the challenge for the full 8 weeks of the challenge + 2 weeks after the challenge finishes. Therefore, you’ll have access to the challenge within the WBK FIT app for 10 weeks.

However, you CAN save your workouts and meals as PDFs for you to keep forever.

How do I save my PDF programs each week?

Click on the workout day. In the top right corner, click the menu icon (the icon with three lines). On the top right corner click the ‘export’ icon. Download your weekly PDF!

You can also use this exact same method to save your weekly meal plan. Simply go the ‘meal’s section of the app and follow the above instructions.

Sign ups are still open, but ya’ll need to GET IN QUICK! You can sign up now and you’ll be emailed with instructions on how to get started!
